The CNUDST shall make available for the Tunisian scientific community electronic resources most of them are full text. These resources are consisted of subscriptions to more than 10 000 scientific periodicals (with the access to conference proceedings, standards and patents), and 8 databases. All Subscriptions are regulated by a license agreement signed by 18 international editors.
The CNUDST negotiates the licenses of use in accordance with the demand made by institutions of higher education and research and by the research community, in the light of careful assessment of priorities, technical questions and budgetary constraints ensured by the committee that is charged of acquisitions and subscriptions to electronic resources.
Under the licenses of use, access to these electronic resources is reserved to authorized users duly authenticated. The authentification of authorized users is done either by :

Recognition of the username and password :
the Recognition of authorized users could be done via a pair of access codes (username and password) assigned by the publisher. CNUDST in turn will transmit them to authorized institutions. Recognition of institutions’ IP addresses straight from the editor :
The identification of authorized users is transparently done by recognizing the IP address of their institutions straight from the editor’s platform. Authorized Institutional IP addresses are, indeed, provided in advance by the CNUDST to the editor. In this way access will be opened to users accessing to the editor’s platform from premises of their institutions.
